Theresa:

I think you were about to say something wonderfully profound!

Getting back into the zone in five seconds or less…there is the challenge of the day! How many of us can do this?

Michael:

This is interesting, while I was trying to go back in memory to where we were, something interesting dropped in…about living in the memory of tomorrow…so we will go with that…I was trying to recall something of the past and something came to mind that we often go one direction in our memory – we go back – but many of us, in our memory live in our memory in reverse, you know, like a rewind…but in consciousness, we let go of the earthly realm, we can go forward in time…can you remember the future? And when you begin to remember the future, it shows up exactly the way you want it be in the now…so the power of going omnidirectionally in memory, not just back, but going forward into the future…and you go future in memory, and that future shows up as the reality in the now, and somehow that is living the awakening dream.

That is the journey of consciousness…and that is a question everyone asks…part of embodying…stepping into that dream is remembering.

Theresa:

Have you had an experience of creating that for yourself?

Michael:

Yes, I have. And part of that is what we talk about in Practitioner journey, something Ernest Holmes talks about, setting the intention…And perhaps setting the intention is the way of remembering the future.    I am setting the intention for this…and that intention for the day paves the way for the way your day shows up. So in some way intention is really remembering the future.

Theresa:

There is also a very close link, isn’t there between intention and attention. How many times are we reminded that where your attention goes, energy flows?

Michael:

And Deepak Chopra talks about this…the need to stay focussed on intention.

Theresa:

So many of us, as you said earlier, would be regurgitating the past, and obsessively focussed on the memory of the past, but then with intention, we are saying, Oh, but I want to create a new future, I want to create a new present, but with energy going where attention flows, this would be why we are not creating what we choose in the present. I mean, this is a really great reminder, isn’t it?

Michael:

This is a huge reminder, and many people practice the principles of prayer, contemplation and meditation and it doesn’t appear to manifest in their life…Doing…doing all of the work and manifestations are not showing up…but as you mentioned about the past…rewriting the present?   Are we really? Or are we recreating the past? We are just recording over the past like audio CDS…first, you have the blank CD…probably like the consciousness, then we record the first program, then we erase the program, and record over the program, there is still resonant energy of the first program, we record over and over…I think, I feel, this is part of the short-circuit when things don’t manifest, we need to clear a space in consciousness, to get that space with no resonant energy of the first recording before we record…but I think there are those levels of past memories that we never fully clear ….that keep us from the clarity of living in the future…to live in the awakened dream, there is no resonance of the past….

But now, I will ask you…what is the process, what is the teaching, what is the awareness that allows you complete clarity where there is no resonant energy of the past?

Theresa:

These are great questions, Michael, and we are out of time for today.   Just how do we clear away those programs? And what exactly is the awakened dream? I have heard that phrase before, but I really don’t know what it means…So ‘til tomorrow then…

Michael: Be well. Stay conscious. Namaste.
